How to read & save the book (so you don’t lose your place)
Before you start reading, there’s one small practical note that will make this much easier.
When you click Start reading, the book opens as a PDF.
To come back to it easily and continue where you left off, you’ll need to save it once to your device or a reading app.
Below are a few simple ways to save it, depending on what you’re reading on.
Reading on an iPhone or iPad
When the PDF opens, tap the Share icon (the square with the arrow)
Choose Save to Books
You can now read it anytime in the Books app — it will remember your place.
Reading on an Android phone or tablet
When the PDF opens, choose Download
Open it from your Files or Downloads app
You can also open it in Google Drive or another PDF reader for easier reading.
Reading on a laptop or desktop
When the PDF opens, save it somewhere easy to find (Downloads or Documents)
Open it with Preview, Adobe Reader, or in your browser
Most desktop readers will remember your place automatically.
Reading on a Kindle
You can also read the book on a Kindle by sending the PDF to your device.
Use Amazon’s Send to Kindle feature from your phone or computer, or
Email the PDF to your Kindle email address
Once it’s in your Kindle library, it will behave like any other book and remember your place.
One last thing
Because this is a PDF, it won’t automatically sync across devices unless you save it in a reading app. If you ever need to re-download it, that’s fine — but saving it once will make reading much smoother.
Best read slowly… preferably with a cuppa.
